How to Find Your Star Using the Star Finder App

Our Star Finder App makes it easy to locate your named star in the sky — right from your phone! Here’s how:

1. Download the "Night Sky Star Finder" App:

2. Open the App and Enter Your Registration Number:

• Enter your Star Registration Number (written on your certificate)

3. Allow Location Access:

• Allow location permissions for augmented reality features.

4. Follow the Arrow or Marker:

• Hold up your device, and follow the on-screen pointer to find the exact location of your star.

• Use the app at night in a dark area, away from city lights.
• Ensure GPS/location services are turned on.
• Hold your phone steady

 

👀 Not Seeing Your Star?

• Your star might be below the horizon — meaning it’s not visible from your location at the moment.
• Try again during a different season or time of night.
• If you're in a different hemisphere from where the star is visible, it may not appear — contact us for help.
